Dear Ms. Efficiency – I just want to write this letter to let you know how much I appreciate you. You took an overwhelming situation and made it an uplifting experience.
My kitchen and main living area were flooded and had to be torn out and redone. All the contents of my living room and kitchen were tossed into boxes and thrown into another room or storage. When it was time to try and put it back together, I was at a complete loss on where to begin. You arrived on the scene a week before Thanksgiving and took charge. Not only did I get rid of things that I really had not used in years - a cleansing process - but my kitchen and main living area have never been so organized. I love the great containers you suggested - my dry goods i.e. cereals, crackers etc. are not being thrown away because they got stale. I love to open a cupboard and know exactly where to find something.
The ever present "junk drawers" no longer exist because of the organizers you installed and good habits you taught me. In three days, we had my life back in order, ready for a big holiday dinner party. Not only did you get me through that mess, but because of your suggestions, the laundry room/mudroom is no longer an eyesore. It was embarrassing because of all the clutter. This no longer the case. The labeled bins and shelving you installed saved the day and I can be proud any time a guest passes through to the outdoor deck and hot tub.
The beauty of this whole experience is that it has been over ten years since you implemented these changes and my home IS STILL ORGANIZED!!!
Thank you Amy for all that you have done to make my life easier. The ability to eliminate chaos is a great gift. Keep it up, you change people’s lives – one drawer at a time.
